Cannot see receiver blocking in settings menu

Question:

EN 300 328 has a requirement called receiver blocking. Is this not included in the test software for the TS8997? I cannot see it in the TS8997 settings menu. Is receiver blocking hidden/included in some of the other tests?

Answer:

According to the TS8997 data sheet, receiver blocking is included in the 2.4 GHz band measurements in line with ETSI EN 300 328. The EMC32-K972 option is required. You are right that in the EMC32 software, receiver blocking is missing from the TS8997 settings menu, but you will find adaptivity tests.

Cannot see receiver blocking in settings menu

Receiver blocking is part of the adaptivity tests. Adaptivity tests use an in-band interferer and an out-of-band interferer (blocker). Receiver blocking is not a separate test case. The adaptivity test case includes receiver blocking. In the ETSI EN 300 328 V1.8.1 test suites, the adaptivity test case also contains receiver blocking.
