How can I set the TCP/IP settings from DHCP to Static?

Answer

Please follow the following steps:

  • press the LAN button on the SGMA device
  • wait till the LAN button is green again
  • open the SGMA GUI and scan for the instrument under SETUP - Instruments
  • it will find the SGMA device
  • switch in the Active column from OFF to ON
  • close the instrument setup
  • click on the SGMA SGTA100A_101670 and select SETUP - Network Settings...
  • switch the Address Mode from DHCP to Static
  • press Apply button and wait until yellow info message disappears
  • select the Restart Network
  • wait till the restart is finish (green LAN button on the device)
  • change the TCP/IP address and press Enter key
  • change the Subnet Mask and press Enter key
  • press Apply button again
  • wait till the restart is finish (green LAN button on the device)

Now you can reach the SGMA device under the new static address.
