Riding ahead in battery life test

Rohde & Schwarz showcased the monitoring of the battery life of wireless devices at the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona. The new R&S®RT-ZVC multichannel power probe, in combination with the R&S®CMW290 radio communication tester, correlates battery consumption data with RF signaling events under controlled network conditions. The monitoring of the power consumption of chipsets, radio modules and mobile devices is particularly important for IoT and M2M applications.
