Precision power measurement plays a vital role in evaluating modern power electronics and electric drivetrains. At productronica 2025, we demonstrated how the LMG671 from ZES ZIMMER, now part of Rohde & Schwarz, supports this with accuracy down to 0.025% and up to 7 voltage and current channels. Its dual-path architecture enables simultaneous narrowband and wideband analysis, while the customizable GUI allows users to view all measurement values on a single screen. A motor demonstration setup highlights how the LMG671 captures input and output power, efficiency, and mechanical quantities such as speed and torque. Together, these features make the LMG671 a powerful tool for reliable efficiency and loss analysis.
