R&S^®ZR700N NetLink is suitable for the ATV/DTV transmitter families R&S® Nx7000 / 6000 / 500 and for the DAB transmitters R&S® NA/NL6000 (FM on request).

Brief Description

Hardware / Software

The hardware consists of an industrial PC (19", 1 RU) that has been customised for Rohde & Schwarz (e.g. additional interfaces). The PC comprises an integrated network connection (10/100 Mbit), a CD-ROM disk drive and three RS232 interfaces. Keyboard, mouse and monitor can also be connected (not scope of delivery). Microsoft Windows NT serves as the operating system.
- NLDB (NetLink Data Base) is the central software component of the system. Functioning as a server, NLDB provides its services to the WEB server and/or the SNMP agent clients.
- WEB Server is responsible for the display in the browser of the client. It obtains and displays the data from the NLDB.
- SNMP Agent contains all specific characteristics of the transmitter in a Management Information Base (MIB). This is a tree structure that can be accessed with an agent via the SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol).
