With the internal digital GPS option R&S^®SMATE-K44 the R&S^®SMATE200A Vector Signal Generator can simulate dynamic signals for the Global Positioning System with up to four satellites per baseband. In case of a 2-path instrument equipped with two basebands and two R&S^®SMATE-K44 options, up to 8 satellites can be simulated and controlled within one dialog. Since the signal generation is done in realtime with actual almanac data, the satellite signals are realistic.
