Rohde & Schwarz Portugal Lda is a supplier of equipment and systems in the areas of Testing and Measurement, Radiocommunications, Broadcasting and Television, Radiomonitoring and IT Security. In these areas we provide our customers with total support from the sale, through installation, commissioning, training and after-sales assistance.

The Rohde & Schwarz presence in Portugal dates back to 1951, when Sociedade Comercial Mattos Tavares began its representation in our market. It was one of the first representations outside Germany, together with Spain, Finland and Norway by decision of one of the founders of the company, Dr. Hermann Schwarz. In 1982, Mattos Tavares Electrónica - a company of the Mattos Tavares group - was founded, which under the direction of José Rufino, expanded the activities of Rohde & Schwarz in the Portuguese market. In 1994, Mattos Tavares Electrónica was transformed into an independent company - Telerus, which continued the implementation of the sales and support force for the now wide range of Rohde & Schwarz products. From January 2003, Rohde & Schwarz Portugal was founded as a subsidiary of the parent company (following a trend in almost all of Europe), having moved from Telerus to the main nucleus of the team.
