There are several reasons to characterize RF components under pulsed conditions. Often it is to prevent thermal damage to the device under test or to characterize it under operating conditions. The instruments of the R&S DVMS family monitor T2-MI signals by performing these newly defined measurements and even provide in-depth analysis of these signals.
