Accredited calibration service in line with IATF 16949:2016

A new standard for greater precision

The International Automotive Task Force (IATF) has published the IATF 16949:2016 quality standard for the automotive industry. Section 7.1.5.3 stipulates that external calibration labs must meet ISO 9001 requirements and also calibration and test equipment management requirements.

This means that in the future every company in the automotive industry will be required to consider the accreditation scope and capabilities of service providers when selecting an external calibration partner. Rohde & Schwarz offers accredited calibration in line with ISO/IEC 17025 at its worldwide service centers.
