Drive end‑to‑end technical bids for counter‑UAS solutions, aligning sales, engineering, risk analysis, and compliance to win contracts.

Your tasks

  • Prepare, coordinate, and manage end-to-end technical proposals and tender submissions for counter-drone (C-UAS) solutions in accordance with customer requirements and internal bid processes
  • Understand customer operational needs, mission scenarios, and technical requirements, and translate them into practical and deployable solution proposals
  • Develop and configure suitable system solutions involving detection, tracking, identification, and mitigation technologies (e.g. RF, radar, EO/IR, jamming)
  • Conduct technical discussions, requirement clarifications, and solution presentations with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Product, and external partners to ensure proposals are technically compliant, commercially competitive, and operationally feasible
  • Evaluate solution feasibility, identify technical risks or gaps, and recommend appropriate mitigation approaches
  • Organise bid documentation, manage submission timelines, and ensure compliance with tender requirements and governance processes
  • Support bid clarification sessions, demonstrations, and customer technical evaluations where required
  • Lead smooth handover of awarded projects to engineering and project delivery teams, ensuring alignment on scope, configuration, and customer expectations
  • Maintain proposal quality, consistency, and continuous improvement of bid and proposal processes

Your qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Communications, Aerospace, Computer Engineering, or related discipline)
  • Experience in technical proposals, pre-sales, bid management, system integration, or tendering environment, preferably within defence, security, surveillance, or C-UAS industries
  • Good understanding of system solutions and configurations, with the ability to assess technical feasibility and operational suitability
  • Basic familiarity with counter-drone technologies such as RF detection, radar, EO/IR systems, mitigation/jamming concepts, and integrated security systems is preferred
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into structured and practical technical solutions
  • Comfortable engaging customers in technical discussions, presentations, and clarification meetings
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills across Sales, Engineering, and external partners
  • Strong written, communication, and presentation skills with attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple bids and timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-driven, organised, and capable of balancing technical, commercial, and operational considerations during proposal development
