Your tasks

You will develop embedded software in C++ for our world leading RF power meters based on ARM SoCs running a Yocto based Linux system.
You are responsible for implementation of the main firmware application, including graphical user interface, remote control, data storage and result processing.
You will support us in the development and maintenance of our Yocto based Linux distribution and Linux kernel drivers.
Furthermore, you will develop tests in Python and run automatic regression tests to verify your implementation and perform error analysis and bug fixing.

Your qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related discipline
Strong C++ programming skills and excellent knowledge of current C++ standards
Experience in C, Shell script and Python programming
Knowledge in Yocto based Linux Kernel driver development
Knowledge of digital buses and communication protocols (SPI, I2C, USB, Ethernet, IPv4, IPv6)
Understands and lives the clean code principles
Ability to work proactively and self-organized
Good working knowledge of German and English language
