File for List Mode

Question

How must the file look like to use it for the List Mode?

Answer

You can create a text file.

Each row is one step in the list file.

At first comes the dwell time, then the frequency and at last the level.

Possible column separators are:

  • tab
  • semicolon
  • comma
  • space

The values should be without a unit.

Possible decimal separators are:

  • point
  • comma

But don't use comma for column and decimal separator.

You can set the right decimal and column separator when you import the file on the SMB100B.

Here a short examples for the content of such a file:
0.01,10000000.00000000000000,-30.00000000000000
0.01,1000000000.00000000000000,-30.00000000000000
