Question:
After firmware update from version 3.70 or lower directly to V5.10 or V5.20 the error message "Update FPC failed" appears.
How can this be solved?

Answer:
To solve the problem please downgrade to firmware V4.80.1.0 first. Here is a download link:

The firmware downgrade can be started in the same way as an update.
If the firmware is not running you can also start the downgrade with a double click on the exe file from the file manager of the RTO2000.
After V4.80.1.0 has been installed completely and is running, start the update to V5.xx again.
The the update will work correct.
