The R&S®AC005 omnidirectional antenna covers the extremely wide frequency range from 0.5 GHz to 40 GHz. Being slant polarized, it can receive horizontally, vertically and circularly polarized signals simultaneously.
The key functions as a receiving antenna are wideband monitoring and measuring with good sensitivity, e.g. for coverage measurements and for interference hunting. As a transmitting antenna, the R&S®AC005 is designed to transmit low-power signals (e.g. to measure EMI immunity and to emit test signals). The R&S®AC005 actually consists of two antennas. Thus, it features two individual antenna outputs.
