Quality assurance in accordance with ED-136 is a legal requirement for the operation of ATC voice networks. The R&S®AVQA voice quality assurance system passively monitors the entire voice system, provides information on the voice quality (MOS) and automatically identifies system issues and alerts the control room administrator. Using additional parameters from the data streams, it provides unique monitoring of the RSSI level. The market-leading signal, noise, transmission and modulation monitoring provide extensive information about the current and long-term health of the system. R&S®AVQA complies with ED-137 standards and can be used with any VCS and radio from Rohde & Schwarz and any competitor products.
