The Rohde & Schwarz Networks & Cybersecurity business unit, which consists of Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity, LANCOM Systems and Rohde & Schwarz SIT, will be presenting innovative enhancements to its network and security solutions at it-sa in Nuremberg from 10 to 12 October (Hall 7A, Stand 306): Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity's trade fair presence will focus on an ultra-mobile, secure solution for iPhones and iPads. LANCOM will present state-of-the-art cloud-managed security and the new 1800 "blackline" router series. Rohde & Schwarz SIT will present a highly secure solution for classified communication.
Munich, 4 October 2023 - The increasing number of cyber attacks constantly poses new challenges for companies and public authorities. At the same time, the transformation towards decentralised structures, mobile working and the cloud requires new approaches for flexible and secure access to corporate and government networks and applications. Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity, together with its strategic partner agilimo Consulting, is showing an ultra-mobile, secure solution for iPhones and iPads. The All-in-one solution is aimed at companies and organisations with high security requirements and consists of a VPN gateway with approval by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), mobile device management and managed service as well as automated certificate distribution. With the BSI-compliant iPhones and iPads, users benefit from maximum user-friendliness with minimum administrative effort. The company will also be presenting its new R&S® SITLine ETH-XL network encrypter, which offers 2 x 100 Gbit/s, at the joint stand. The solution ensures secure communication between sites and is suitable for use in CRITIS, data centres and as the backbone of large networks. The device thus enables the construction of future-proof networks for authorities and companies. The central management and quick installation also guarantee simple and intuitive operation.
Secure connection of home and mobile office
For the first time, LANCOM is showing its new cloud-managed remote access solution at it-sa. At its core is a client that enables both classic network full access as a VPN client and migration to a zero-trust security architecture with comprehensive network security. The solution is aimed at organisations of all sizes - from commercial enterprises to enterprise customers. In addition to automatic commissioning, it offers endpoint security, application-based access control, central user management and single sign-on for external cloud applications.
LANCOM will also be showcasing its 1800 series routers in the new "blackline" chassis for high-availability VPN office and branch connections via DSL, fiber optics, cable Internet and 4G / 5G mobile radio and optional Wi-Fi 6 Dual Radio Wi-Fi. With the modern CPE housing, the German network and security supplier combines gigabit performance with sustainable product design and a clear form language.

Confidential voice and video communication is an essential part of official work. With R&S®ELCRODAT 7-FN, Rohde & Schwarz SIT is demonstrating a market-available solution for official classified communication. It is used within an authority, across departments and via the Internet. The R&S®ELCRODAT7-FN system is the all-IP communication platform developed for this purpose for the encrypted transmission of information such as telephony, video transmissions and messaging services up to the confidentiality level SECRET. The encryption between the communication partners is uninterrupted, so that the information is not unencrypted at any point and at any time on the way from the source to the destination (end-to-end encryption).
