Other : Mixed Signal ASIC CAD Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• You maintain and enhance the Mixed-Signal design environment by troubleshooting CAD issues, coordinating with vendors, and managing EDA tool installation and configuration
• You troubleshoot CAD interface issues as required
• You coordinate support issues with EDA tool and foundry vendors
• You install and configure EDA tools and Process Design Kits from vendors
• You contribute to the enhancement of the Mixed-Signal design environment

Your qualifications

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 5+ years of experience.
• You have experience and proficiency in Unix administration and Linux OS support.
• You demonstrate strong skills in UNIX/Linux and scripting languages (Perl/TCL/csh/etc.).
• You are proficient with Mixed Signal SoC EDA front and back end tools.
• You have experience and proficiency with IC design tool sets, with Cadence preferred.
• Skill in a programming language, extraction tool set support, and knowledge of Spectre/xrun/ams are highly desirable.
• You have experience with setting up, documenting, and maintaining analog and digital IC design flows.
• You have experience with administration of load/resource balancing compute farms (e.g. LSF, Grid, NC).
• You are able to work independently and develop quick engineering solutions for complex problems.
• You have high problem-solving capacity and good tolerance for ambiguity, able to prioritize tasks independently.
• You are highly motivated even under a high workload.
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile
