Execution of Audio Script with CMWRun fails because of missing UE calibration files

Description

When starting MOS audio quality measurments with CMWRun connected to a CMW communication tester and an UPV audio analyzer, a failure message occurs that the calibration files "mobile_in.ccl" and "mobile_out.ccl" can not be found.

Resolution

The calibration files can not be found in case the UVP is used the first time or the calibration files have been deleted.
In this case and also when you change the UE you have to perform a "UPV_UserEquipmentCalibration" that can be found in the UPV folder.

Settings and location where the calibration files are saved can be set up in the configuration window.

  • UPV SETTINGS – Indicates the necessary audio cabling
  • POLQA CALIBRATION MACRO – Select User define only if custom calibration macro is used.
  • SAVE CALIBRATION RESULTS – The Mobile Input calibration file contains the peak voltage supplied by UPV generator 2 output, while the Mobile Output calibration File contains the peak voltage
