Awards won by Rohde & Schwarz oscilloscopes

Design & Elektronik 2018

Readers of the German journal “Design & Elektronik” awarded Rohde & Schwarz twice in a row as "Innovator of the Year". This time for the R&S®RTM3000. The low-noise oscilloscope measures with 500 µV/div sensitivity and 10 bit vertical ADC resolution over the entire frequency range. In addition, it comes with an easy-to-use clearly structured GUI.

Funkschau 2018 - Product of the year

The readers of the German trade magazine Funkschau have awarded the new R&S®RTP high-performance oscilloscope first place in the “ICT T&M instruments” category in the ICT Product of the Year contest. During the development of the new oscilloscope family, Rohde & Schwarz particularly focused on measurement accuracy, speed, a wide range of functions and future-proof technology.

Elektronik 2018 - Product of the year

In 2018, the readers of Elektronik once again awarded first place in the “T&M instruments” category in the “Product of the year” contest to a Rohde & Schwarz product. They were convinced by the power of 10 and chose the R&S®RTB2000 oscilloscope.

Design und Elektronik 2017

Rohde & Schwarz wins the "Design & Elektronik" magazine's "Innovator of the year 2017" reader's prize for its R&S^®RTB2000. According to Dr. Constantin Tomaras, editor of the magazine, the entry-level oscilloscope "redefined" the user interface for this oscilloscope class. The R&S^®RTB2000 is operated like a smartphone and is the only oscilloscope in this class to offer a 10-bit vertical resolution, 10 s boot time and 10 Megasample memory depth.

Elektronik 2017 - Product of the year

In 2017, the readers of Elektronik once again awarded first place in the “T&M instruments” category in the “Product of the year” contest to a Rohde & Schwarz product. This time they chose the R&S®Scope Rider handheld oscilloscope.

Funkschau 2016

First place in the ICT T&M instruments category

The readers of the German trade magazine Funkschau have voted the R&S®Scope Rider handheld oscilloscope the top 2016 ICT Product of the Year in the T&M instruments category. The readers were impressed by the fact that the R&S®Scope Rider combines the performance and capabilities of a lab oscilloscope with the ruggedness of a battery-operated handheld device. So much so that the oscilloscope won in the T&M instruments category by a wide margin.

MessTec & Sensor Masters Award 2016

The German trade journal “messtec drives automation” this year has again honored particularly innovative developments in measurement and sensor technology with the MessTec & Sensor Masters Award. Rohde & Schwarz won the award for the R&S^®Scope Rider, its new handheld digital oscilloscope.

DesignCon 2015 - Best in Design & Test award

In 2015, the R&S^®RTE received the Best in Design & Test award in the EMI design Tools & Test category at UBM Canon’s DesignCon. When equipped with the appropriate near field probes, the R&S^®RTE is also ideal for EMI debugging applications. At the leading conference for chip, board and systems design engineers, members of the DesignCon, EDN and EE Times communities vote on a selection of products nominated by the editorial staff.

2014 Elektra award - Highly recommended in test product of the year category

The R&S^®RTE was highlighted at the Elektra awards as highly recommended in the test product of the year category in 2014. The Elektra european electronics industry awards have been recognizing technical innovation and commercial success in the industry for over ten years.

EDN - Hot 100 products

UBM Canon’s EDN recognized the R&S^®RTE as one of the hot 100 products of 2014 in the Test & Measurement category. With its hot 100 pick, the EDN editorial staff honors the year's electronics industry products that had the greatest impact on its readers and editors. Decisions are based on factors including innovation, relevance, user friendliness and popularity. EDN has been publishing its hot 100 Products list annually since 2010.

Funkschau 2014 - ITC product of the year

Second place in T&M equipment category

In 2014, Funkschau readers awarded the R&S^®RTE second place in the T&M Equipment category. The German trade journal's (circulation: 40,000) annual readers' choice award has become one of Germany's largest surveys in the ITC industry's B2B field. Around 7200 readers participated in the sixth iteration of this award in 2014.

First place in the ITC measurement products category

The readers of the German trade magazine Funkschau have voted the HD option for the R&S^®RTE and R&S^®RTO oscilloscopes the top 2015 ITC Product of the Yyear in the T&M instruments category. The option is very well-received by customers. In HD mode, the vertical resolution of the oscilloscope increases to up to 16 bits for sharper traces and even more precise analysis results. The unique advantage of the solution is that the digital trigger system from Rohde & Schwarz has the sensitivity required to trigger on the high-resolution signal.

Elektronik 2015 - Product of the year

In 2015, the R&S^®RTO and R&S^®RTE again achieved first place in the Test & Measurement category in the Elektronik readers' Product of the Year competition. This time, they won with an innovative 16 bit vertical resolution option (R&S^®High definition mode). This was the seventeenth time that the German trade journal's (circulation: 31,100) readers voted to select the 30 most interesting and innovative products in the electronics industry.

Global Frost & Sullivan award for competitive strategy innovation and leadership

In 2015, Rohde & Schwarz won the Global Frost & Sullivan Award for Competitive Strategy Innovation and Leadership for its excellent standing in the oscilloscope market. Its innovative strength and valuable portfolio expansion have enabled Rohde & Schwarz to gain a position in this hotly contested market only five years after entering it. The award is based on an analysis of the oscilloscope market.
