Information Technology : Technical Writer

Your tasks

• Create user documentation for a variety of material, including specs, how-to guides, and user/installation/configuration manuals;
• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements;
• Study drawings, specifications, mockups, and product samples;
• Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content according to the company style guides and industry standards;
• Explain technical ideas in simple language and write clear and concise user manuals, policies, procedures, diagrams, or forms according to tasks;
• Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation;
• Provide and manage updates and revisions to technical documentation as necessary;
• Edit publications: adjust copy as necessary and proofread for grammar and spelling;
• Submit copies to Team Lead for feedback;
• Report to the Team Lead.

Your qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in both Romanian and English (written, and verbal);
• Strong attention to detail;
• Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking;
• Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences;
• Proficiency in MS Office;
• Experience working in a technical writing position (preferred);
• University degree (Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred, but not mandatory).
