Your tasks

  • Analyze and negotiate terms and conditions for one-time orders or contracts for long-term supplier agreements
  • Drive strategic initiatives, manage and fully execute RFQs, analyze supplier bids and make sourcing decisions based on the established global supplier base
  • Analyze supplier spend data
  • Process purchasing requests, maintaining communication with suppliers and internal customers, from order placement to receipt, to ensure quality and schedules are met
  • be actively involved in project procurement or assign team resources
  • Support and act as backup for the department head

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain/Procurement, Materials Management or Business and 5+ years work experience or equivalent experience
  • Six sigma certification, CPM or comparable certification a plus
  • 4 years management experience
  • Technical knowledge across categories of electro mechanics, semiconductors, microwave components and assemblies a plus
  • Strong working knowledge with developing RFQ/RFP, experience with supplier management, working on contracts, negotiations and PO documentation
  • Experience with purchasing multiple commodities and tasks involved in a fast-paced work environment
  • Outstanding Microsoft Office Software, including advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with SAP
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment
  • Detail oriented and organized, good problem-solving skills
  • Effective analytical, oral and written communication skills for customer/vendor relations and interfaces
  • This position might require the use of information or access to hardware, which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.
  • US citizenship or permanent resident is required

This is a full-time position with a base salary range of 90-130k plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills
