Software Development : Test Engineer Signal Analysis (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• − As a member of the Signal and Spectrum Analyser team you will be responsible for developing and running tests for a number of measurement applications running on a variety of measurement instruments. − You will be involved in developing tests for new applications and features as well as supporting the daily testing. − Have a passion for solving problems in order to investigate problem reports and help identify solutions. − Contribute to test automation and development of internal test frameworks. − Depending on your current task, you will be able to work independently or co-operatively as part of a larger team. − You will be working with the latest and upcoming wireless and telecommunication technologies − Ability to be flexible and enjoy the challenges of working in a dynamic environment. − A desire to contribute to process improvement in order to achieve high quality products developed in a timely manner.

Your qualifications

• − A degree in electrical or electronic engineering, computer science or equivalent, ideally with a focus on communications engineering − Previous experience working in a test environment − Good practical knowledge of C / C++ − Remote instrumentation control using SCPI via GPIB, VXI etc an advantage − Be able to take ownership and good problem-solving skills − Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an effective team member − Be flexible and enjoy the challenges of working in a dynamic environment − Have the ability to 'think outside the box' and question current ways of working − Be motivated to improve processes in order to achieve high quality products developed in a timely manner.
