I want to use the "beep" function to get an indication when a mask is violated.
Is it possible to adjust the volume? I could not find anything in the menues

Yes - there is a possibility.
For that you have to minimize the application with "FILE" --> Minimize
Connect a mouse and click on the small symbol of the loutspeaker. Then a menu comes up:
With that you can adjust the volume.
