Industry Veteran Matthew Roush Joins Rohde & Schwarz FCC Repack Team

Premier transmitter, test and measurement and studio equipment manufacturer Rohde & Schwarz today announced it has hired Matthew Roush as a broadcast support engineer to bolster its FCC repack installation and service efforts, effective Aug. 7.

Based in Quincy, Ill., Roush spent 24 years with GatesAir, including more than 19 years in television field service. He has an extensive knowledge of DTV transmitter systems, as well as experience with equipment installation and test of transmitter equipment.

“As broadcasters across the country scramble in response to the tight FCC repack deadlines, Rohde & Schwarz is continuing to build our service and support team,” said Erik Balladares, vice president of Broadcast & Media, Rohde & Schwarz USA. “Matt is a very well respected industry veteran who has quickly become an important part of our North American team.”
