Your tasks

  • Business development and sales responsibility with main focus on Tactical Communications solutions in the Benelux area
  • Solution based selling of Tactical Communications products with focus on the Defence segment
  • Conducting technical customer presentations and understanding the customer needs for Tactical Communications solutions, as well as follow RFQ process and conducting negotiations
  • Building and maintaining effective long-term relationships with key senior-level decision makers and influencers at governmental organizations
  • Participating in business relevant exhibitions, seminars and technology events
  • Regular communications with the local sales manager and the central Application Segment Tactical Communications counterparts in Munich
  • Acting as an interface between the customers and the Application Segment Tactical Communications to facilitate success in the region
  • Generating leads / opportunities and sales in close cooperation with Tactical Communications sales and product organization and local sales staff within the sales region
  • Developing partner relationships, identifying opportunities and creating revenue in the region

Your qualifications

  • WO/HBO education and thinking level, preferably electronics
  • Extended working experience within the Defense area with governmental and military customers
  • Knowledge of military and civil communication technologies and products is required
  • Familiar with the competitive landscape, the customers and the procurement procedures
  • Experienced with quotation and tender procedures
  • Strong communication and presenting skills
  • Mindset of a hunter with excellent communication skills and stress resistant
  • Ability of making sales plans and strategies and executing them
  • Dedicated, team-oriented way of working and intercultural competence
  • Readiness to travel up to 50% of the work time within the entire sales area
  • Very good Dutch and English verbal and writing skills. German language is a plus
