Your tasks:

  • Provide quick, responsive, high quality and consistent 1st level IT support and customer service to our internal customer according to the agreed Service Level Agreement
  • Respond to queries over multiple channels (e.g. phone, Skype messages, e-mail)
  • Walk customer through problem-solving process
  • Escalate issue to 2nd / 3rd support for assistance when problems are complex and beyond 1st level support
  • Maintain ongoing communication within the team and keep all stakeholders aware of relevant, known issues as well the steps being taken to resolve them
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved
  • Gain feedback from customers
  • Keep track and document all issues and resolutions accordingly
  • Ensure all documentation and SOPs are up-to-date

Your qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma in Information Technology / Computer Studies or relevant field of studies
  • At least 3 years of extensive remote end-user support and troubleshooting experience in Desktops & laptops, Windows Operating Systems, MS Office suite including Outlook, TCPIP Networking Tools, Lotus Notes Client
  • Preferably certified in ITIL foundation V3
  • Prior working experience in a small-medium enterprise or MNC with ServiceNow would be an advantage
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player who is also able to work independently
  • Ability to work in Germany time zone (GMT+2) as this role is supporting users in Germany
  • Ability to speak / pick up German will be an added advantage
