Your tasks

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
  • Process full cycle of new hires, terminations and employee changes
  • Process workers compensation claims
  • Participate in HR projects as assigned, such as employee engagement surveys, employee recognition programs, etc.
  • Maintain HR schedule and coordinate calendar events.
  • Reconcile invoices for HR-related vendors.
  • Process HR purchase requisitions.
  • Ensures that the company maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Maintains and submits annual compliance reporting (EEO-1, Vets 100, employee posters, etc.)
  • Ensures that the affirmative action plan (AAP) follows our benefit program
  • Verify and submit I-9 information as required.
  • Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of Human Resources Administration or Specialist experience. SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification a plus.
  • Understanding of employment laws and other government compliance regulations.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, charts & graphs).
  • Experience with HRIS (ADP preferred) and SAP
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Detailed and process oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to multi‐task
  • Ability to travel 10 – 15%

This is a full-time position with a base salary range of $51K-85K plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
