Your tasks:

  • Understand customer needs and identify how Rohde & Schwarz products can provide technical solutions
  • Create new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships
  • Grow the territory and exceed quota
  • Build and manage a strong sales funnel
  • Provide input and feedback to product marketing, service and development groups on customer product and application requirements

Your qualifications:

  • BSEE (or equivalent technical education)
  • Must be a U.S. person
  • Technical sales experience
  • An understanding of current electronic industry technologies (particularly aerospace and defense technologies)
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for selling, an intense focus on customer service, and an overwhelming desire to succeed
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interface skills
  • The ability to travel throughout the territory with some national and international travel.
  • Account knowledge and experience with the Boston area aerospace and defense primes is highly desired
