Hardware Development : Semiconductor Device Engineer (m/f/x)

Your tasks

• Performing device simulations using TCAD software considering physical and technical boundary conditions given by the external production facilities
• Evaluating semiconductor technologies and their potential with respect to target applications in the RF und microwave frequency range
• Characterizing the electrical performance of semiconductor devices and deriving models for integrated circuit design
• Qualifying devices with respect to environmental conditions to ensure reliability
• Planning and coordination the supply chain involving internal and external production steps

Your qualifications

• Degree in natural science or technical engineering
• Good knowledge of semiconductor device physics (Si and III/V, Diodes, MOS, HEMT, BJT, HBT) and semiconductor production technology
• Actual hands-on experience in semiconductor device design
• Experience in physical device simulation using standard TCAD tools
• Knowledge in electrical characterization techniques and software based automatization
• Knowledge in devices modelling for circuit simulators
• Experience with DC and RF measurement equipment
• Able to work effectively in teams as well as self-reliant
• Knowledge in RF circuit design is a plus
• Willingness to travel and work at external partners sites for a limited time
• Strong communication skills in English, German is a plus but not a must have
