Software Development : Software Developer – For 5G/LTE Higher layers (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Design and implementation of cross technology features for LTE / 5G-NR protocols.
• Possibilities to work with advance baseband Fading models.
• Based on interests and background the position also permits possibilities to contribute to 3GPP standardization work.
• Integration and testing on the latest R&S CMX500 Radio Communication Tester.
• Error analysis and debugging of own modules, as well as of the overall system.
• Active participation in the project's team work, including spec / feature analysis, time estimates, design and code review as well as documentation.
• Participation in our KIT innovation program (Knowledge, Innovation and Technology) with up to 5% of your time, to ensure your and the company's competencies within new technologies, methods and tools, as well as effective sharing of knowledge.
• Travel activity to a limited extent.

Your qualifications

• Educated M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software or Electronic Engineering.
• A solid and documented knowledge of C++.
• In-depth experience with design, implementation, integration and debugging of complex software systems.
• Understanding of LTE / 5G-NR protocols and 3GPP standards are an advantage.
• Understanding of Linux and embedded distributions are an advantage.
• Knowledge of version and project managing tools - e.g. GITLab.
• Outgoing and has good communication skills.
• Good English skills both orally and in writing.
