Your tasks

As a member of the Spectrum Analyser team you will be responsible for developing and running tests for a number of measurement applications running on a variety of instruments.
You will be involved in developing tests for new applications and features as well as supporting the daily testing.
Have a passion for problem solving in order to investigate problem reports and help identify solutions.
Depending on your current task you will be able to work independently or co-operatively as part of a larger team.
Ability to be flexible and enjoy the challenges of working in a dynamic environment.
Contribution to test automation and development of internal test frameworks.
A desire to contribute to process improvement in order to achieve high quality products developed in a timely manner.

Your qualifications

A degree in electrical or electronic engineering, computer science or equivalent, ideally with a focus on communications engineering.
Previous experience working in a test environment
Good practical knowledge of C / C++
Remote instrumentation control using SCPI via GBIP, VXI etc an advantage. Good understanding about Digital Communication Engineering and Digital Signal Processing.
Be able to take ownership and good problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be flexible and enjoy the challenges of working in a dynamic environment
Have the ability to 'think outside the box' and question current ways of working
Be motivated to improve processes in order to achieve high quality products developed in a timely manner.
