The Mission
We are looking for a VCS Technical Support Senior Specialist to ensure the highest level of technical excellence and operational continuity for Rohde & Schwarz Topex clients operating in mission-critical environments. The role acts as a vital bridge between complex Romanian-engineered innovation and international client requirements, ensuring that every interaction reflects the quality and reliability of the Rohde & Schwarz brand.
Your tasks
- What You Will Do:
- Facilitate and lead technical discussions between the customer and the local support teams for complex issues related to VCS systems.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams, R&D and customers to diagnose root causes, ensure minimal downtime and restore optimal system functionality.
- Prepare, analyze and maintain comprehensive reports focused on system performance, technical incident resolutions, root-cause analysis, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Utilize data visualization tools to provide technical insights and recommendations for process and system improvements.
- Act as technical deputy to the Customer Support Manager, handling escalated technical customer inquiries, coordinating cross-functional technical teams, and managing day-to-day technical administrative tasks to support global operations.
- Identify opportunities to enhance technical support processes and tools, implement efficiency measures, and contribute advanced technical content to the internal knowledge base.
