Description
After an Base firmware update to version 3.8.x or newer a failure message "no smartcards are found" is shown during the start of the CMW program on the controller PC.
CMW100 Model K02 show "No smartcards found" after Base 3.8.x firmware update
Resolution
The CMW100 Model K02 can not be updated because of limitations in the hardware.
To solve this issue a downgrade to Base firmware version 3.7.171 has to be made. This is the last working firmware version for this device.
Because a mix of firmware version 3.7.x with 3.8.x is not possible, the downgrade of all installed firmware version to 3.7.x is mandatory.
If you do not have the needed firmware for the downgrade you can find it on the R&S GLORIS customer web.
Select the MRT cusomter web and choose CMW100 and navigate to the Fir-/Software folder.
