EMC32 does come with a Device Support list, available from CD ROM / CD download image, showing the minimum firmware version for my instruments. Is this also available for ELEKTRA?

Using ELEKTRA, please add instrument to Device List, save it and open General facet. The General facet contains general properties of the device. Beside some parameters, General does also display the minimum firmware version.
Example:
Please make sure your instrument does fulfill this requirement, do an update if necessary. If the installed firmware version is lower than the minimum firmware version, ELEKTRA does not connect with the instrument, because minimum requirement is not fulfilled.
