5G eCall device and system testing
Presenting the next mandatory eCall version, which is called NG-eCall with the latest radio access technology known as 5G NR. NG-eCall is driven by several factors, for example to reduce response time even further and to provide the radio access today and in the future. To demonstrate the NG-eCall functionality the CMX OBT and SMBV together with the KA09x Software is used for testing the whole functionality for an In-Vehicle-System.
5G C-V2X production testing with the CMP180 radio communications tester
V2X – vehicle-to-everything communication, based on 5G NR FR1 at 5.9 GHz is the next big step for car communication. This requires a powerful test instrument capable to test all important measurement parameters such as spectrum, power, and EMV of the 5G-V2X sidelink signal at 5.9 GHz.
