Test solutions to cover article 3.2 of the RED

Test solutions to cover article 3.2 of the RED

Article 3.2 of the RED 2014/53/EU requires that radio equipment should be constructed so that it both effectively uses and supports the efficient use of radio spectrum in order to avoid harmful interference. The applicable harmonized standards are listed in the Official Journal of the EU.

Rohde & Schwarz offers a wide range of test solutions covering the test requirements described in various harmonized standards listed below. Automated test solutions ranging from standalone instruments with sophisticated sequencer software to customizable test systems and turnkey test chambers are available, particularly for wireless communications, broadcasting and satellite navigation applications.

The test requirements described in the harmonized standards can also be performed manually using signal generators and signal analyzers from Rohde & Schwarz together with additional accessories such as filters, combiners and attenuators. For further details and test solutions for harmonized standards not listed below, contact Rohde & Schwarz.
