RTB2000: Status of the Trigger

Question

How can I query the status of the trigger with remote commands?

Answer

There are two possibilities:

1.
With every trigger the RTB starts a acquistion. It is possible to find out when the acquisition has been finished.
"SING" starts a single acquisition after a valid trigger condition has been detected.
The query "*OPC?" returns "1" when the acquistion has been finished

2.
In trigger mode "normal" it is also possible to query the status "waiting for trigger", which means until now no valid condition has been detected.
Bit 3 of the "Status Operation Register" is set to "1" as long the status is "waiting for trigger". That corresponds to the message "Trig?: XX s"
on the screen of the RTB.
The command is "STAT:OPER:COND?"
