What can I do to get rid of the red UNCAL indicator on the screen?

Answer
1) The sweep speed is too high for the selected resolution bandwidth filter. As a result, level and frequency are not measured correctly and the UNCAL indicator appears on the screen.
Remedy: Increase the sweep time until UNCAL disappears. Better set the sweep time to Auto adjust.
2) An internal value has been detected as out-of-limits.
Remedy: Start a calibration process (CAL TOTAL). After calibration the UNCAL sign will disappear. If it does not, this might be due to a hardware defect. In this case the instrument has to be checked by R&S service.
