This application note describes how to connect and use the highly popular R&S®NRP-Z family of USB SMART power sensors with the Android application (app): R&S®Power Viewer Mobile for mobile devices running on Android 4.0 operating systems. In order to reach very high measurement speeds, Rohde & Schwarz signal generators are operated in 'List Mode', and Rohde & Schwarz power meters are operated in 'Buffered Mode.'
