Nokia and Rohde & Schwarz jointly explore feasibility of drone-based network measurement solution

Nokia today announced it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with leading network measurement technology provider, Rohde & Schwarz, to embed QualiPoc 4.9G/LTE and 5G network measurement capabilities into the Nokia Drone Networks platform. This first software-embedded solution of its kind will expand the use cases for drones to provide communication service providers (CPS), private wireless partners and enterprises with deeper knowledge around their wireless network coverage and performance for more efficient utilization.

Interaktivitätstest von Rohde & Schwarz ebnet den Weg für neue ITU-Empfehlung zur Bewertung der Netzperformance

Der von Rohde & Schwarz entwickelte Interaktivitätstest wurde von der Internationalen Fernmeldeunion (ITU) als Testverfahren anerkannt. Der Test liefert eine präzisere und umfassendere Bewertung der Netzperformance für interaktive und Echtzeitanwendungen als traditionelle Verfahren. Mobilfunkbetreiber, die den Interaktivitätstest einsetzen, können darauf vertrauen, dass die Mobilfunknetz-Testlösungen von Rohde & Schwarz alle notwendigen Anforderungen gemäß ITU-T G.1051 erfüllen.
