The Voice Communication Systems (VCS) we develop requires top skills in the Voice Processing area therefore we’ve built an amazing team that needs a leader to manage and shape engineers developing the ATC Voice Handling in the first VoIP VCS. This role is crucial as al our products depend on this infrastructure.
You will lead a team of highly skilled, passionate software engineers managing the existing Voice Processing modules and bring your contribution to the next-generation VCS. You should be driven by technology and enjoy automation, while being passionate about customer satisfaction.
You will drive continuous process improvement, enhancing the existing system and, in parallel driving the team to the next level through innovation. Your team is part of the Research & Development team, working very closely with DevSecOps, Testing, Quality Assurance, System Engineering and Production Department providing support for the Support, Project Management and Sales organizations.
Your tasks
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and instruction to the Voice-processing team. Establish values such as collaboration, communication, service consciousness, motivation, etc.
- Define, implement, and manage our Voice strategy, goals, and roadmap.
- In this role you will be responsible of performance management, hiring, firing, people development and overall team happiness.
- Actively contribute to the Product House processes, identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement or optimization, and implement the solutions.
- Help the Support organization in their efforts to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Ensure and develop collaboration with other teams inside R&D division.
- Participate in Product Design discussions, influence the roadmap, positively impact the VCS as a product by providing training and guidance for other departments (such as System Engineering, Support, etc) when needed.
