Hardware Development : Digital Architect (m/f/x)

Your tasks

• Define the digital architecture of a new family of high speed D/A converter ASICs
• Discuss with product development team the needs and propose ASIC solutions
• Work together with the analog architect and the technical team to develop a complex component
• Define/Choose and implement interface protocols between analog and digital blocks and ICs
• Design memory arrays and create macros for technologies missing those IP
• Design memory controllers
• Create testbenches and verify digital designs

Your qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering
• In-depth professional experience in the development of digital or mixed dignal ASICs
• Digital design methodology, from abstraction levels like SytemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL over netlists like RTL and to physical description in GDS
• Knowledge on interface protocols like UCIe, JESD204
• Experience in implementing digital I/Os, serializer and deserializer
• Experience in implementing Design For Test
• Strong communication skills, coupled with a proactive attitude, for effectively presenting technical information
• Cadence/Synopsys mixed signal Design, Simulation and Verification Tools
• Communicate fluently in English, spoken and written. German skills are nice to have
