Your tasks

  • Working within the service team to deliver and maintain customer hardware equipment and systems in service lab located in North Ryde Sydney and occasionally on customer sites. This includes mainly but not limited to repair, installation, configuration and testing of RF Equipment as well as technical support to internal and external customers.
  • Documenting all engineering support and investigation work to a high standard with ERP system
  • Maintaining internal reference equipment pool according to set intervals
  • Maintaining existing/new NATA scope of accreditation and other ISO/internal audits
  • Using daily work schedules to appropriately factor volume, priority, customer expectations, and service centre goals into decision making processes.

Your qualifications

  • Skills and experience
  • Bachelor of Engineering, qualifications ideally in Electrical/Electronics/Radio Telecommunications/Mathematics.
  • Strong calibration and repair capability
  • OHS involvement
  • Organization skills
  • Analysis and problem solving proficiency
  • ISO17025, ISO9001 and NATA experience.
  • Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships, written and verbal communication, planning and organization and teamwork. Essential Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, ideally RF, Electronics, and Communications
  • Ability to test, diagnose and repair a broad range of RF equipment
  • Ability to read, interpret and review complex technical drawings and instrument repair manuals.
  • Analytical problem-solving ability in fault finding and diagnostics.
  • Basic understanding of RF measurement Metrology principles.
  • Excellent computer skills including ERP system, MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Ability to work autonomously and efficiently.
  • Demonstrate Result orientation, Drive, Team work and Boundary functional collaboration
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Time management and prioritisation of tasks
  • Can-do attitude
