CMW500/2xx intenal fan settings to reduce noise

The CMW500/2xx is to noisy during operation - is there any option to slow down the internal fan?

Answer

Yes you will find in the system configuration menue the section Misc -> Fan Control -> Speed

Here you can select between "Normal" wich is the default value "High (Production Line)" and "Low (Laboratory)" that will reduces noise.

There are two fans inside the CMW - one that is responsible for the air flow thru the housing and another in the power supply that can not be influenced by this setting.

Please keep in mind the reduction of the fan speed will result in a higher temperature insed the CMW, so we prefer to do this only in an air conditioned environment.
