The CMX500 OBT creates a signaling environment by transmitting an FR3 cell signal at 13 GHz, simulating real-world conditions, and conducts a comprehensive analysis to verify the device's ability to achieve maximum throughput, making the CMX500 OBT the ideal choice for FR3 research and development.
The web-based GUI application controls the R&S®CMX500 radio communication test platform and enables to perform these measurements in parallel with end-to-end (E2E) tests and with power controlling the 5G device.
The R&S®CMX500 5G and LTE radio communication tester fully emulates a controllable cellular network and enables audio samples to be exchanged with the labCORE. A 5G antenna is connected to the R&S®CMX500, enabling over the air network transmission and then a martphone attaches to the 5G network and connects to the car handsfree system.
