Measure amplifier input and output signal

Is it possible to perform a real two-channel measurement with the U3741? I want to measure

amplifier input and output signals with only one spectrum analyzer.

Yes, this measurement can be made using the U3741 and option 10.

Option 10 is a real two-channel input up to 3 GHz. It provides completely independent

settings and synchronous sweeps. As a result, the measurement time is cut in half

or even less.

You can use it for simultaneous measurements on two frequency ranges,

e.g. for measuring the amplifier input and output signals at the same time. You can

also use it for monitoring two signals (two devices) at the same time.
