Measuring adjacent channel power with the R&S®CMA180

R&S®CMA180 ACP measurements check how much power from a designated radio channel leaks into its adjacent channels. Testing starts by selecting the TX or Expert scenario under the analog or digital tabs, then accessing the ACP tab. Set the center frequency and expected power. Channel spacing and bandwidth can be entered manually or set automatically from a predefined standard such as DMR or P25. The R&S®CMA180 then measures the occupied bandwidth and power of the designated channel, along with the absolute and relative power of the two channels above and below it. Results appear as a bar graph and as numeric values. Statistical results and configurable limits are also available for quick pass/fail checks.
