Introduction

Turn silicon into insight—lead end‑to‑end mixed‑signal ASIC characterization and drive the next generation of high‑performance chips.

Tasks

  • You will be technically responsible for the characterization of mixed‑signal ASICs, covering analog circuits, digital logic, and high‑speed interfaces.
  • You plan and execute comprehensive characterization campaigns that validate performance across all operating corners.
  • You independently design, set up, perform, and continuously optimise laboratory measurements to obtain accurate silicon data.
  • You analyze the complex relationships among circuit design, process technology, and measured results to drive insight into block behavior.
  • When measured data diverge from simulation, you conduct systematic debugging and root‑cause analysis to identify and resolve the underlying issues.
  • You develop, document, and institutionalize new measurement methodologies, standards, and best‑practice guidelines for the organization.
  • You automate test execution and data‑analysis workflows using Python, MATLAB, and related tooling.
  • You collaborate closely with the stakeholders und provide technical leadership and coaching to junior engineers

Qualifications

  • Du hast ein Studium der Elektrotechnik, Mikroelektronik, Physik oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung erfolgreich abgeschlossen.
  • Mehrjährige praktische Erfahrung in der Charakterisierung von Mixed-Signal-ASICs bringst du bereits mit.
  • Du verfügst über fundierte Kenntnisse im Bereich analoger und digitaler Schaltungsentwicklung sowie im Umgang mit High-Speed-Schnittstellen wie ADC/DAC, SerDes und vergleichbaren Technologien. Darüber hinaus hast du Erfahrung mit Signal-Integrity-Messmethoden und bist in der Lage, komplexe Labormessungen eigenständig aufzubauen, durchzuführen und auszuwerten.
  • Der sichere Umgang mit anspruchsvoller Messtechnik wie Oszilloskopen, Arbitrary Waveform Generatoren, Source-Measure-Units und Hochfrequenz-Messsystemen gehört zu deinem Alltag.
  • Erfahrung in der Automatisierung von Messabläufen sowie in der Datenanalyse mit Python, MATLAB oder vergleichbaren Tools setzt du routiniert ein.
  • Komplexe technische Fragestellungen analysierst du strukturiert und entwickelst eigenständig belastbare Lösungen.
  • Ein hohes Maß an Eigenverantwortung, Selbstständigkeit und Qualitätsbewusstsein zeichnet deine Arbeitsweise aus.
  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse bringst du mit, Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil.
