If I select Maturo antenna masts in EMC32, a "LD 0 DV" should be sent in advance. This can't be configured using a generic tripod template. So how can I configure a Maturo MCU (antenna) controller and similar devices in EMC32 and what about an antenna tripod (in this case EAS365) that is connected to this controller?
This can be done as follows:
Define the Maturo MCU as "Inn-Co Turntable" in the device list. After that it can be contacted as a “second turntable” or “mobile phone positioner”.
The EAS365 antenna tripod can be connected as a generic tripod. In the Generic Tripod - Antenna Towers menu window, you can set up all GPIB commands and also query the antenna polarization.
The command strings needed for the Maturo antenna controller are as follows:
Set Horizontal: LD 3 DV BU LD 180.0 DG NP GO BU
Set Vertical: LD 3 DV BU LD 180.0 DG NP GO BU
The antenna tripod responds at subaddress 3.
The antenna tripod template can also be turned into a test template for radiated EMI measurement.
