Key facts

  • Detect, analyze and locate signals from 8 kHz to 8 GHz, extendable to 33GHz
  • 125MHz real-time bandwidth
  • Superfast >500 GHz/s panorama scanning speed
  • Support four non-continuous segmented spectrum scans
  • CI-based single-channel DF with accuracy down to less than a degree

High-performance wideband, high-speed monitoring receiver.

The R&S®PR300 is a wideband, high-speed monitoring and single-channel DF receiver. The receiver reliably detects signals from 8 kHz to 8 GHz. The receiver can be extended to 20 GHz with the R&S®HE400DC and to 33 GHz with the R&S®HE800-DC30. The receiver also supports single-channel direction finding accurate down to less than a degree with the R&S®ADDx07 DF antenna. Scanning speeds of over 500 GHz/s power fast signal detection beyond real-time bandwidth. The carefully engineered receiver architecture and technology can cope with ever more challenging spectrum-related operations such as monitoring, detection, interference hunting (unintentional and malicious), direction finding and geolocation.

Advanced time domain analysis

Simultaneous signal representation in the frequency and time domain

The R&S®PR300-ZS time domain measurement option provides simultaneous signal representation in the frequency and time domain with up to 125 MHz real-time bandwidth. Time-gated spectrum features let users isolate the spectrum of the same frequency signals from different Time gated spectrum lets users isolate frequency signals from different transmitters in the same spectrum. For example, uplink and downlink signals can be isolated while sharing the same frequency in TDD networks.
